Clean Up Australia Day

One of Council's roles is to protect and enhance the community's environment and health. The Kiama Tidy Towns Committee, in conjunction with Kiama Municipal Council, assist in the local co-ordination of the National Clean Up Australia Day Campaign.

This national enterprise encourages people to participate in cleaning up and removing rubbish and litter from our beaches, waterways, bushlands and other areas located throughout the municipality. Kiama Municipal Council and the Kiama Tidy Towns Committee seek the co-operation and participation of citizens, community groups, schools, businesses and government authorities in the Kiama Municipality to ensure the annual National Clean Up Australia Day Campaign is an outstanding success.
